Gnostic Rebellion are pleased to announce the release of their latest EP “Cosmism”, following on from their debut self-titled album in 2023. Available now from the SHOP link above.
“Cosmism” weaves together dense and deep psychedelic electronica with carefully chosen vocal samples from key luminaries to draw connections between the invention of the nuclear bomb, humanity’s capacity for self-destruction and it’s desire to populate other planets. It connects the 1950-60’s counterculture as an existential response to the nuclear threat, the rapid acceleration of technology and its ties to transhumanism as a possible next stage of evolution, and, ultimately, how these ideas circle back to Cosmism and the elite’s pursuit of survival, escape from Earth, and a form of immortality.

Gnostic Rebellion are an audio/visual Esoteric Electronic duo comprising of Andrew Sloan (rhythm and beats) and Andrew Shackleton (melody, texture and visuals), based in Frome, Somerset, UK. Hardware synthesisers, sequencers and sample based sound modules are used.
